Premarital counseling is 
designed to give you the best possible preparation for marriage. Thousands of forward thinking couples have engaged in the premarital counseling process

Premarital counseling is not problem-oriented; rather it is an exploration of each partner's personal relationship style.

I am a licensed Marriage, Family and Child therapist, and have been practicing in San Diego County for the past twenty years. During this time, I have developed a particular expertise and reputation for working with all issues that pertain to relationships. Being in an intimate relationship is probably the most challenging situation that most people ever encounter. Being married, having children, and retaining a focus on your own personal growth and needs is a juggling act that most will undertake, but not easily! The drive towards intimacy (relationship) must coexist and hopefully flourish with the equally powerful drive towards self-fulfillment. I have spent the greater part of my professional life addressing this paradox. Relationship satisfaction is key to a healthy life. I feel confident that I can assist you in this important area.

In addition to relationship issues, I work with individuals and groups with problems of anxiety, depression, stress and personal transitions. I am a proactive therapist with an emphasis on understanding and finding solutions.
